Meet the owner
John Welsh
John is our agency owner and before starting Alabama Insurance Experts, he was a captive insurance agent for many years. Before insurance he was in corporate management for nearly 20 years. He holds an MBA from the University of North Alabama and a BS in Business from the University of Alabama. He is licensed in insurance for property and casualty and life and health. Also, he is licensed in real estate and the owner of Birmingham Real Estate Advisors. He is married to his wife Tracy, and they have three daughters. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, college football, and spending time with family and friends.
